The production of plastic products is first based on the development and design of plastic mold, plastic mold is a basic tool for the production of plastic products, the precision of the mold directly affects the integrity of the structure of plastic products and the accuracy of the size. The production of all kinds of plastic products need to go through the plastic mold design and manufacturing, injection molding and surface treatment and other links, of which the precision mold structure is complex, surface quality and technical standards are high, technology and capital intensive products, the production process needs to apply high-speed processing and ultra-finishing technology, rapid prototyping technology, automatic control technology, polymer material processing application technology. It involves machinery, metal materials, polymer materials, chemical materials, electronic and electrical, automation control and other fields, and has high comprehensive technical requirements.
1, plastic products industry overview
Plastic is made of synthetic or natural polymer compounds as raw materials, with plasticizers, fillers, lubricants, injection molding agents and other additives as auxiliary components, at a certain temperature and pressure made of plastic materials and a small amount of solid materials. Plastics have been widely used in modern society for their light weight, strong plasticity, low manufacturing cost and extensive functions.
At present, synthetic polymer materials have become an indispensable new material for human beings, and steel, wood and cement together constitute the four basic materials in modern society, is one of the basic materials to support the development of modern society, and is widely used in information, energy, industry, agriculture, transportation and other national economic fields. In recent years, China's plastic products industry has developed rapidly, the scale has been expanding, and has become an important part of our national economy.
In 2013, the plastic products output in China amounted to 61,886,600 tons, reflecting a growth of 8.02%. By December 2014, there were 14,062 large-scale enterprises engaged in the production of plastic products. The main business revenue reached 2.039239 billion yuan with an increase of 8.92%. The total profit stood at 118.286 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year growth rate of 4.24%. Additionally, the export delivery value reached 226.066 billion yuan with a rise of 2.82%. It is evident that China's plastic products industry continues to expand its industrial scale and witness annual increases in output; however, the year-on-year growth rate has decelerated over the past two years.
From the perspective of the fine chemical industry within the plastic products sector, plastic pipes and fittings, plastic wires and woven products used in plastic packaging are among the most commonly utilized categories of plastics. Following these are plastic films and packaging containers, with daily use plastics and manufacturing of plastic parts following closely behind.
Among them, the plastic parts manufacturing industry has witnessed a consistent upward trend in both main business income and export delivery value over the past five years. The growth was particularly remarkable from 2010 to 2011, with the main business income soaring by nearly 200% from 237.282 billion yuan to 709.559 billion yuan, while the export delivery value surged from 63.579 billion yuan to 191.426 billion yuan. Although the growth rate slowed down between 2012 and 2014, the main business income continued its expansion and reached an impressive figure of 939.413 billion yuan by 2014.
2, mold manufacturing industry overview
Mold is a basic process equipment processed by processing equipment of plastic, rubber, metal, powder, glass, glass steel and other materials, which belongs to the intermediate products in the production process and is used for the production of final products. Mold processing is one of the important ways of material forming, compared with mechanical processing, with fewer processes, high material utilization, low energy consumption, easy production, high efficiency advantages, so in the automobile, energy, machinery, electronics, information, aerospace industry and daily necessities production is widely used.
According to statistics, 75% of the roughing industrial product parts and 50% of the finishing parts are formed by molds, and 80% of the parts in the household appliance industry and more than 70% of the parts in the electromechanical industry also need to be processed by molds. The mold industry can often drive the development of its related industries, so the mold industry is often called the benefit amplifier.
Although China's mold industry started earlier, it has been a subsidiary enterprise of downstream production enterprises in the early stage, and the circulation rate of mold commodities is low, which limits the development of mold enterprises. Until 1987, mold as a product was included in the catalogue of mechanical and electrical products, at that time, there were about 6,000 mold production points in the country, with a total output value of about 3 billion yuan. After more than 20 years of development, China's mold industry has made great progress, as of 2013, the number of enterprises reached 30,000, the annual output value of 220 billion yuan, annual exports close to 5 billion US dollars.
At present, the largest market of China's mold industry is the automotive industry, electronic information industry, home appliances and office equipment, machinery and building materials industry. With the rapid development of China's national economy, the improvement of people's income level, the increasing demand for automobiles, electronic consumer products, home appliances, etc., making these industries have entered a stage of rapid development in recent years, becoming an important reason for the rapid development of China's mold industry. The following figure is the output value of China's mold 2007-2013, it can be seen that in recent years, the output value of China's mold industry has grown rapidly, from 87 billion yuan in 2007 to 210.6 billion yuan in 2013, the growth rate is much higher than the overall level of the world's mold industry.
3, the development trend of mold and plastic products industry
With the gradual transformation and upgrading of industrial structure, the proportion of high-grade products gradually increases, and the basic supporting service functions continue to improve, although the growth of plastic products production has slowed down, its value space is still large, and the output value can maintain a high growth rate, it can be seen that the plastic processing industry is still in the rising stage. As one of the indicators to measure the development level of a country's plastics industry, China is only 30:70, less than the world average 50:50, farther than developed countries such as Germany's 63:37 and the United States of 70:30. Therefore, with technological progress and consumption upgrading, China's plastic products industry will continue to develop steadily.
Mold industry belongs to the basic industry of the national economy, involving machinery, automobile, light industry, electronics, chemical industry, metallurgy, building materials and other industries, the application range is very wide. China's industrial development is rapid, including the development of automobile manufacturing, IT manufacturing and medical devices, so that the entire mold industry ushered in development opportunities.
